Blackjack Dealer Bust Percentages
There are a lot of interesting things to discuss when it comes to the game of blackjack. The basic blackjack strategy, popular as the blackjack matrix, can really help you stay ahead of the game without hassle. Other strategies and knowledge can also be used to help you win more money playing blackjack online or offline, including your understanding of the blackjack dealer bust percentages.
Depending on the open car the dealer is showing, you can expect the dealer to bust up to a certain level. If the dealer’s open card is a 2, for example, the dealer’s bust percentage is around 35%. With an open card of 3, the dealer’s bust percentage is increased to 37%. For 4 and 5, the dealer’s bust percentages are 40% and 42% respectively.
As the dealer’s open card gets stronger, the bust percentage starts to decrease gradually. This is why you need to have a strong hand to win the round if the dealer’s open card is 6 or higher. With an open card of 6, the bust percentage is 42%. If the open card is a 7, however, the bust percentage is substantially reduced to 26%.
If the dealer shows an 8, he is facing a bust percentage of 24%. If the open card is a 9, 10, or any of the face card, the dealer’s bust percentage is 23%. Last but not least, the dealer faces only 17% chance of busting with an Ace in hand.
